Darlene sees individuals, couples and families. She works with individuals experiencing grief, sadness and depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. She works with couples experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, and emotional distance, helping them to deepen and strengthen their emotional intimacy and create a secure connection with one another.
Darlene graduated from Saint Paul University in Ottawa with a Masters Degree in Individual and Couple/Marital Counselling. Darlene is an ordained minister having served as a congregational minister in a number of churches. In addition, Darlene trained at The Toronto Institute of Human Relations counselling individuals, couples, and facilitating therapy groups.
Darlene is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor, a certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and is an EMDRIA certified therapist in EMDR.
